The large #10 Alaska Mag blade used on the Alaska Magnum Series spinners is reminiscent of the old Skagit spinners that have caught a lot of fish over the years. Add a couple modern twists with heavy gauge brass, high polish and innovative paint patterns, this blade is becoming a favorite in Alaska for king salmon. The spinner patterns shown in this category are proven in a number of fisheries throughout Alaska. And, don't let the large size blade (2 7/8 long x 1 3/4 wide) cause you to hold back. This blade trolls good at slow or faster speeds equally well. Personally, I have had some good success over the last two summers with a number of Alaska Mag patterns with a few real nice big kings to their credit. I have never been one to believe "big spinner, big fish" but there may be something to that in the right situation.
